英语阅读教学可分为三个阶段,分别是「 Pre-reading, while-reading, post-reading 」。
Pre-reading 环节主要是激发兴趣,引进话题;
While-reading 环节一般会开展扫读理解,略读质疑,精读赏析等活动,这个环节是培养学生各种综合能力的关键环节,通常安排三次阅读过程,第一次,reading for gist;第二次,reading for details;第三次,延伸拓展。
Post-reading环节一般会开展复述、书面表达、口语展示等活动提升学生综合语言运用能力。
今天呢小编要给大家分享一下post-reading的一些有意思的活动!
1. Creative Writing
Ask students to choose 10-15 words from the text they just read.You can provide categories for the words e.g. the most interesting words / the most important words. Students then write a text using the words. This text could be a story, poem or news report.引导学生从阅读材料里选取10到15个词汇,比如选“最有趣的词”,“最重要的词”,或者是“最难的词”等,然后用这些词写一个小故事或者是诗歌等。
2. Areas of Interest
Ask students to say which part of the text is the most important/interesting and which part is not interesting or important.If you don’t have enough time so that all students voice their opinions, you can ask them to share their views about the reading with two or three classmates.When the sharing time is over, you can ask two students to share the most interesting and uninteresting part from the reading让学生投票选取阅读中有趣的或重要的部分,并与同伴们分享选择那部分的原因。
3. Creative Discussions
Prepare four or five simple questions and ask students to talk about those questions for 3 minutes.After them to share their ideas group by group.准备四到五个简单问题让每个组的学生们讨论几分钟,然后让他们一组组轮流分享想法。
4. Quiz Your Classmates
This activity can help us determine how much students learn during the reading.Ask your students to prepare 5 questions about what they read, once they have them ready, you can tell the students to make groups of 4 and then they can ask those questions to each other.Let students know that you will be moving from group to group listening to their quiz questions.这个活动可以帮我们检测孩子在阅读过程学到多少。老师让每个小朋友对刚学的阅读提出五个问题,然后进行小组讨论,讨论过程中老师组组之间来回走动。
课堂上我就用了这个活动让学生们互相考对方不同地方的天气~他们对这个挺感兴趣的哟!
5. Prepare a Survey
Students can prepare a survey about the information they just read.Using again the example of the moral and values reading, students can prepare questions such as:
What would you do if you found a wallet near to your house?
What would you do if you found a five dollars bill in the classroom?
学生们可以根据刚刚读的内容准备一个调查问卷,对同学们进行调查。
6. A Graphic organizer
(also known as a concept map or mind map) is usually a one-page form with blank areas for learners to complete with ideas and information which are connected in some way.学生阅读了文章后,可以运用各种各样的思维导图进行信息整理。比如针对故事可以用流程图,比如针对人物传记可以使用时间轴等。
7 Questioning the Author of the Book or story
Ask learners to prepare a set of questions that they would make to the author of the book or story让学生准备一系列想要问书籍/故事作者的问题。
8 The End of the Story
Another post-reading activity is asking learners to change the end of the story. Changing the ending of a story to something unpredictable requires some thinking.让孩子修改故事的结局。
9.Designing a Poster to Advertise the Book
This activity could easily linked to the use of technology in the classroom. Simply ask learners to create a poster using a tool like Piktochart or Canva.让孩子用帆布或者是纸张为阅读内容设计一张海报。
10.Write a Book Review
Write a book review – explain the book briefly and write about whether or not it was a good book and if you would recommend it to others to read. Why?写一个书评,简洁地介绍一下书籍,写写它值得推荐或者不值得推荐的原因。
